Do any of you live in a house with a second or even a third floor?
Can you get me the dimensions of the steps on the staircase? Height, depth and overhang, if you see what I mean.
Reason I ask is that I've just been told to make a staircase. Trouble is, where I am in New Zealand, there are no stairs to use as a template. Literally none. This staircase is going to be here for years, and I don't want every one cussing me every time they trip up going into the pit because I made the steps a funny size.
