....why it is that too much hairspray is said to make your hair fall out??

Just wondering, I heard it at work today, and actually put some thought into the reasoning and couldn't come to the probably blindingly obvious conclusion.

Can make it brittle and snap I think, so if use too much could thin your hair. Maybe, dunno, random guess.

I do understand that part, in fact I try to stay away from naked flames hehe

I'm just worried about losing my hair tbh!

Hair is, for all intents and purposes, dead. So anything you do or add to it is akin to embalming a corpse.

Because you're worth it.

Gelled handles? mind you, that might be too greasy.

Blue, you can't win.
Does conditioner help at all?

How long is it?

I guarantee there is a wax out there that will do it.

You have never seen my hair, so you don't know how much it requires the help!

ETA: Wax and gels aren't strong enough to hold my hair. I've tried them all!

It's not that long, it's just so thick that waxes make it look like a mound of greasyness, and gels wear out in about an hour.

I only straighten it once a week, and only use hairsray when tis damp, so it can't fall out that quickly...can it? wobble

All down to your genes J....look at your mum's side of the family, if her brothers, or uncles were bald, then start looking at wigs.

Use a gel spray (cheapo ot of superdrug....white bottle, pink/orange label) protects the hair from the heat, and means you get the hold, and the protection....or so my hairdresser says rolleyes

If you are a bloke. And require anything to "hold" your hair?

You have too much hair. Ask your hairdresser barber about a "Number 2".

No he won't smear your head with st. That's what you were doing previously with the hairspray.

Nope. Just say you want a "Number 2" all over. That will sort you out nicely. yes

Perhaps a change of hairstyle to reduce the use of spray?

Most hairsprays are slightly radioactive. Probably.

This man spotted the problem straight away.......Hair unruly = Hair cut. Not gay hair styling products. It is acceptable to leave oil or grease from working on your car in there to "hold" it, that is manly and ok.

Anything else and you sir are a homo.
