G/f rang last night. Pilot light gone out, couldnt get it started again.
I bobbed around (30 min drive), had a look but couldnt do it. She rang British Gas who she has boiler cover with, they said "we'll come tomorrow, between 12 and 8".
Great. She's stayed in waiting for them. At 11.53, they rang to say "we cant come today, it'll be some time tomorrow". Grrr....
Tomorrow is the busiest day of her year, she's already planning on working until 8-9pm, yet BG think its acceptable to cancel last minute with no regard for the troubles it causes.
She's off to the gym for a warm shower!

Sod that, glad I'm in the UK. I read somewhere this has been the coldest winter start in the UK for 32 years ?
The roads were dodgy as early as 8pm last night and nearly caught me out a couple of times, Saw around 4 vehicles in ditches last night. I've just been out for a run round the ring road, with care, to exersize my garage queen and the roads look like they are going to be as bad again tonight.

The other night the al gore film was aired across the canadian networks - with no rider about content etc - to put this in perspective we have to endure a warning about gordon ramseys language after each ad break, and on Holmes on homes we get a warning that the opinions of mike holmes (celebrity builder) are nothing to do with the network showing the programme

When I first visited Canadia everyone had a bump in their driveway covered by a tarpaulin. I asked why? Snowmobiles was the answer I got.
