Quickest way to isolate the battery?

Does anyone have thoughts as to the best way to isolate the battery in a hurry (eg: to stop the alarm, etc.). I mean which fuse or relay is easiest to access - apart from fitting a proper kill-switch? No problems just wondered just in case. Cheers.

If the main car battery has failed to to going flat once too many times, the alarm battery will probably be dead as well. I'd bet about 75% or more alarm batteries are for the bin by now.

is it not a rechargable battery in the siren body which will maintain its charge through the vehicle electrical system?

to my knowledge the siren gets 3 wires

plus V
ground
trigger

when the vehicle battery is recharged i should think the alarm battery will soon recharge itself

It won't if it has gone totally flat a few times.

Arm the Alarm wait a min or two then pull one of the battery terminals off and see if the siren goes off or not!
You will soon know if the back up battery is charged !!
