US ipod dock?

My sister has a US iHome that she bought when she lived out there. It cost quite a lot so would be nice to try and recoup some of it - but I have no idea if it will work in the UK?

Any idea if it would work in the UK with a plug convertor - or is the voltage a problem?

I'm using the one I bought in NY running on a travel adaptor (US-UK) and havent had any problems with it
