CP Plus parking fines....
Discussion
Have you told them who was driving? If not then nothing to worry about. Just ignore and they will go away. Plenty of sites out there to tell you why.
I had a similar thing when I had a season ticket displayed and they are like a bulldog with a bone, won't let go. Forget trying to phone them or contact by letter. Utter waste of time.

Nope.I was in a rush and took the gamble, didnt buy a ticket, came back and had the fine attached to my window. Hold my hands up.
But when I googled this company it seems they are cowboys who do not have the right to issue fines, and they rely heavily on bullying tactics.
So with that inmind, I was thinking of ignoring all their letters.
Just wondered if anyone on PH had dealings with them?
Cheers
Oh I got through to their solicitors and managed to speak to some bint who was completely ignorant of the law. She seemed to think that I had to tell them who was driving.
As I said, waste of time. Just don't reply, don't acknowledge any correspondance and they'll give up in the end.
Just a bunch of chancers who treat everyone the same regardless of whether or not it was their mistake.

That is the law, as soon as you tell them who was driving they can go to court, provided that is they can quantify the damages they are claiming. As I said, waste of time. Just don't reply, don't acknowledge any correspondance and they'll give up in the end.

This was on a train station car park, which may be subject to railway bylaws - so I wouldn't hold your breath just yet.

How does that affect things?

So, how is that different from say, a Morrissons car park?

If there is no photographic proof of the missing ticket (360 degree of car should do it) and no proof of who was driving there is no case.
Not one of these cases has ever gone to court, ever wonder why?

As Parrot of Doom said it is different issue because it is a railway carpark CP Plus are contracted by SWT to Manage the Carpark.
They do take Photos and will take it further action and admitting on a forum it not wise thing because from your profile they can see what car you drive.
You never know who looks at the forum so if i was you either change your profile for awhile
