I am considering getting back to RR ownership, can't decide between V8D V8SS and then this V8SS with LPG pops up?????
Does the conversion drive the price down??? I take it the RR warranty would be void??

It would be out of manufacturer warranty anyway.
I looked at this car but the LPG actually put me off - I'm not sure that they have got the conversion right yet for the S/C. Someone who posts on here (sorry can't remember who) is just converting a S/C so they be along on a minute to disprove me!
Great looking car though!

It says it's the facelift version but it isn't still has traditional handbrake, gear lever in middle, no terrain response selector.
There were several facelifts - the newer nav/comms/bluetooth system, then the newer grille, then the TR and moving of the ignition...911wise said:

There were several facelifts - the newer nav/comms/bluetooth system, then the newer grille, then the TR and moving of the ignition...I'm currently looking at 2005/6/7 rangies and there are a lot of ads for 2006 cars that describe them as 'facelift model'
They must have been talking about an earlier facelieft as they did not have the 2006 new style dash & terrain response - disappointing if you have made the assumption they would have.
So although there was 1 facelift in 2006 (the new dash), it seems sellers are not necessarily referring to that facelift in their ads!

Yep that's about the size of it - see my above post. In the main, referring to "facelift" implies the newer grille with faired-in lights, it has little bearing on the interior as some cars (like mine) have the old grille, but newer Nav/Venturecam etc, then there are those with that "old" interior but the new grilles, and then the 07MY cars which had both newer grille and the new interior and dash....They must have been talking about an earlier facelieft as they did not have the 2006 new style dash & terrain response - disappointing if you have made the assumption they would have.

Oh, and you're welcome to ours, wifey demands a Disco3, so it's got to go As above, it's an 05MY with the older grille, but touchscreen nav etc...

I bought a late Nov 05 RR Supercharged a couple of months ago and have fitted an LPG kit. I'm planning on doing 1000 miles this week on LPG! If the OP is serious about the above RR (which has been for sale for several months at least) my advice would be to find out who fitted the LPG kit, the type of kit etc. and post it here on PH for comment. Then drive it hard on LPG for a few miles - any minor problems with the LPG set up would be immediately obvious. In my experience the LPG set up either works or it doesn't.
PM me if you want more information about fitting an LPG kit to a Supercharged RR.
