Yep, Can't really get into them myself. Don't mind playing a few of the old games I had when I was a kid.

Theres a guy at my work, who is 40 and he is really into his computer games.

Well, fair enough for you... I still like some games now and again, they are amazing graphically these days. And as for the Wii, some of the gameplay is incredible with the controller, most enjoyable. Hell, even my parents enjoy the Bowling and Tennis on the Wii...

I went off games for years, bought a PS3 recently and i'm interested again.

Will probably last about 4 weeks then it will be used exclusively for DVDs.

Got an Xbox 360 and it's fun when it's dark and rainy outside. Need for Speed doesn't compare to going out and having a hoon on the motorbike or in the car, but it's a damn sight cheaper to be honest.

I have an Xbox 360, I only ever play 2 different games, I enjoy it, staves off the boredom for a while, and is a cheap way to keep myself occupied.

I don't really 'get' knitting, but i don't hate it smile

The problem with games now is that they are too complicated. To execute a round house back flip special attack you need to hold down L3 whilst pressing back on the right analogue controller then simulataneously pressing star, square and up arrow.

WTF happened to joysticks with autofire, that's what i want to know???

Consoles are great for when you've got an hour to kill.

Agreed. It all ended for me with the loss of Atari. One button, and a joystick. Some of the BB lot are into playing a World superbike game, and suggested I get on board. One look at it in the box, and that's where it still sits. Bought the nephews a PSP3 for xmas.....didn't have a clue how to use it and gave up.

I could never get the hang of "driving" using my thumbs, with no feel to the "car"

Thats a very small minded tttish statement.

You don't play them so you "Hate them" - I don't play ice hockey but I don't "Hate" it

So you stopped playing because you "got a life" and now you "hate them" and come on PH spouting your hate filled views, methinks that you actually don't "have a life" at all.
