Women! Their thermostats don't work ?

Do any of the other guys on here get this:
Missus gets home, and decides "it's nippy" better get some logs on the wood burner. Me? I'm sweating my bks off already.
Give it an hour or so after hitting the sack, she will decide it is cold, and decide that the whole quilt wrapped around her swiss roll style is the only way to go?

Still, I suppose I can knock up some horse shoes on the burner while she settles down

I am always cold, am sure I will always be hot when I hit menopause tho, (while yet) agreed women's thermostats don't work.

This is so true, wifey wants to curl up in bed with me (cos she's feeling cold) as she gets in close, bejesus she is like a human radiator flat out hot, then gets the hump when I explain I cannot breathe (for the heat) and need to throw the duvet on the floor.

House-mate wants heating on all day, AND turns 'stat up to 25+ and still complains she's cold! Meanwhile I'm sweating my nuts off and falling asleep in the heat.

I'm toasty warm (logburner) the central heating is off unless it is really needed. At merely -10 with added windchill, I don't think it is 'really' needed.
