Calling lighting experts - Drive over lights

Looking to put some in my driveway that is about to be built, 2 questions, firstly how come the 10X price difference betwen this http://www.screwfix.com/prods/59240/Lighting-Lamps... and this http://www.gardenoflight.co.uk/shop/5/?
Will the screwfix version be that bad?
Also how many are recomended per sq foot, I really do not want to create a blackpool illuminations, just enough to to pick our drive out in the blackness of our village (no street lamps), so only a real subtle light required.
The drive is around 8 meters by 10 meters, was thinking of putting 4 in?

I fit these a lot, the cheaper ones should be sufficient for your needs and for cars to drive over, sink plastic pipe off cuts 300mm long as a tight fit sleeve into concrete to give a firm installation then slide the units in as you can bet some will fail over the years, wire in SWA cables with underground joints, control with either a timed switch or a solar cell and contactor, use an Residual Current Device as protection. For this type of electrical work a Part P certificate is a legal requirement. If you get a lot of vehicles/lorries the more cost the better. With the more expensive ones you are paying for a brand name, a better waterproofing system and a better quality product.
I use a really good quality unit at £200 - 400 for car parks and have recently lit a night club with blue metal halide uplights.
As for quantity, the small units would be better at 2- 3Mtr centres along both sides of the drive, 4 fittings just on one side of the drive will not give much light.
You might actually be better with short bollards that light down rather that uplight from a ground mounted drive over fitting --- unless you fly a helcopter.

Why not use something similar to this in design? Rather than lighting the sky you then light your driveway.
