Put my S3 up for sale a month a ago and today it headed off into the Sunset to its new home. The guy who bought it had traveled all the way down from Aberdeen to London to view the car. (thats got to be a record, 550 miles)He was the first to view the car.
It was a sad feeling to say farewell to my little baby. Its was great fun and 100% reliable. I only had it a year but covered 6000 miles ( I blew the 4000 miles stated by the insurance)This was down to the cracking summer we had.
No real reason for my post just thought I would share my sad news. I will hopefully return to TVR ownership in the next year or so. Any one passing the Harrow area, give us a spin ! Its Mr Passat from today on Thanks to you all for your assistance/ humour on this forum, there a wealth of knowlegde on here and fun to...
Im off to mourn in a pint.

I just need to pay a few bills and get some cash together, I would like to move out of London so I can have a house & a TVR I will aspire to your V8s for now.

Think of it as a temporary state of affairs - everything changes - sad news all the same

One less S in North Harrow.
I hope you won't be TVR-less for long, Brian.

You're still a TVRCC member - Pauline will still welcome you at Mid-Essex meets! You know the way now, so you'll just have to leave the Passat at my house and passenger in mine before you get Podie convoy withdrawl syndrome!!

I really shouldn't come to the November one as I am studying for my finals in December, but I could be persuaded to go down for a couple of hours

Sorry to hear the news!

I think this is a decision we all worry about having to make one day (or maybe it's just me). As Ren says, hopefully it'll just be a temporary state of affairs and you'll be holding a steering wheel with a TVR logo in the centre again soon (and I'm not talking about changing the wheel on the Passat!).
