F40 record top speed attempt

Sorry if this is a repost, but has anyone seen this. Its odd to see an F40 on the salt flats with parachutes, moon disks and land speed record tyres

Think it was just an experiment to see how fast the owner's F40 could go with aerodynamic mods - IIRC he owns a car fettling company in the US.

I'm not sure but probably one of the production based records. Land speed record cars can be broken into almost hundreds of different class's. You can run your car on two different fuel types and that will put you in two different classes’ each of which had a record.

With a bit of luck I am hoping to go to the Bonneville speed week this year.
