Are you doing this for the money? As i would suggest starting a religion instead. Much easier to evade the laws of the land and the donations are TAX FREE!!

It's not all that difficult as I recall. Something about raising a nominal sum of money and members of the party.

For some reason £1000 and 10 people rings a bell, but it's been a few years since I looked at it.

I think Tony raised this to closer to £15k, although that could have been a proposal that never went ahead, I only heard it in passing.

Then a further sum (£500) per candidate to run in an election.

If you secure more than 5% of the vote, you get the money back, if not, then it goes to the Treasury.
