I have a 2003 03 Noble M12 GTO3 3.0 V6 in Larch Silver with 28,000 miles. It has full noble history but is due a service, new tyres and is in good condition. I have had it for nearly two and a half years but now I need something more practical, how much should I expect to get for it?

cheers

Private sale - about £21k at a guess. Mine is GTO3 2003 with 18,000 miles and about £22k was suggested to me. Or go via a dealer on sale or return but expect less.

Don't think at the minute it's a good time to sell. Obviously depends on how clean the car is and also history , How many owners?.I wouldn't personally buy a car that is due a service, could be a couple of grand if it's a major one.
I think things the way they are you would be looking in v low 20's.

As its due a service I dont mind servicing it for the next owner. The only thing I needed to change on the car other than usual service items was a windscreen wiper arm, reliability has been superb.

my opinion is about 17-18k as i have noticed this car for sale for £19995 for a while considering the current climate unfortunatly they are dropping in price as the market is so bad and i think they will drop a lot more over the next 12-18 months obviously this is my opinion and i may be wrong but i think this is the case with all the higher end cars tvr, porsche, range rover,m3,x5 etc the list goes on i am a motor dealer and over the last 6-8 months higher end cars have been dropping in value very fast having said all that the noble is a very good car and i have owned a few of them and would consider buying another at the right price if you would be interested in a deal with a car i have plus cash let me know cheers sean

I paid £23k in June for my 03 GT03 with 11k miles on it and it was imaculate with 1 owner from new who wasnt desparate to sell... so Id expect mine to be worth under £20k now its got twice the mileage on it, let alone the drop in residuals generally!

Its all gone bepend on how much you want to sell the car.

Ironic thing is I bet these cars will still be worth similar money in a couple of years time when (hopefully) things have got back to normal.

I'm in the same boat as i am selling mine. Mines a 2003 GTO-3 with a 6spd, lsd and M400 linkage, all fitted in Sept 07. I am having it serviced in two weeks and mot'd today. I have it up for 25k but know that i will have to drop it lower.

Whilst liaising with someone in the trade re a possible car i liked I was offered 18k trade in. They wasn't going to take it but had called all the dealerships etc and that was the best offer they were given. I'm going to continue to try and sell it private and see what happens.

Your car looks lovely mate!! Would bite your right arm off if u were a dealer! Due to the fact of me wanting to buy one on finance, keep the money in the bank for a rainy day!!
Good luck with the sale!

Mine might be for sale soon also. Not getting the use it deserves and the money sitting in the garage could be used elsewhere. BUT sure i like most PPL will be back again. wink

Just short of a year now. wink end of feb. But as said its just not getting used and has a battery conditioner fitted all the time so IF i get the chance to use it the battery aint flat yet again. The car has actually been sat in my dad's garage for a month while we had building work done at home... frown

Matthew if I may be so bold as to make a couple of possible suggestions, I hope you take this as positive criticism as it is certainly intended that way!!

If I were you I'd get the number plate off the bonnet and back onto a bracket where it should be. As a prospective buyer (who has been looking for some time now!) it looks odd to me and I'd want to do it myself if I bought it. Also, I'd take some pictures in a more neutral location and at some more complimentary angles. Aside from that, the car looks great but I too would be concerned that there was a service due. All IMHO of course.

Very best of luck with the sale, I'm quite surprised you still have it!

Mate - I have to agree with some of the advice on here. It's amazing how much difference a good picture can make. Try and use a clean background so the picture doesn't distract away from the car.

Apart from that, if you were thinking of doing a deal for someone, I think it would be a steal at £19k!!! ... the car is stunning! I certainly would if I was buying (would love a Noble), but just sold my Lotus for a 'family car' ... i know it doesn't help you but best of luck - she really should sell.
