4 of us heading up for the Autosport show at the weekend, and stopping over. Our hotel is on Broad St, so centrally located. I've not been out in Brum for at least 5 years, so needs some recommendations for where to go for some beers and silliness please...

Just beware of the sports cafe downstairs and rococo not nice places after dark, Try along the canals? and go up to the mail box? Better class of lady!!

Rocket club Broad street or Spearmint Rhino hagley road. Mailbox is a good starting point tho.

A palce called the Mailbox has a nice selection of bars.

A lot quieter there than broad st most the time too!

Avoid broad street at all costs, unless you are a chav?

Dress very smart and hit mechu on summer row, you will not be disapointed with the women!!! I was there NYE, the women are gorgeous and not stuck up thier own arses!

Just because our hotel's on Broad Street doesn't mean we have to party with the peasants. We've all been fitted with legs...

I just like 80's music (yes I am that old) and everywhere else just seems to play thumping bass which i hate. Does this make me a bad person ? No. Does this make me a chav ? Certainly not. Does it make me a sad bloke in his 40's with a mid life crisis ? probably

Broad Street - good for under 30's

Canal Street Basin /Brindley Place - Good for 25+

Mailbox - Good for 25+

The Arcadian Centre (China Town) - good mix of age groups, food (not just Chinese) & bars/Clubs (also has Legs 11 and the Gay quarter there)

Or walk into the centre (Broad Street is not central ) and go into the nice pubs/resturants round there (St Phillips Square).

Depending just how classy you want to be, head over to The Jam House - excellent food, club and bands.
