Hi

I seem to be getting really dry flaking skin on my face. This is despite me putting on lots of moisturising cream this morning (Nivea Intensive Care).

1. Can anyone reccomend a good moisturiser that will prevent it looking like I dont wash my face because of dry skin peeling.

2. Any good home remedys? I have heard yougurt is good for the skin?

Many thanks....

Aveeno cream is very good. You will probably have to order this from a Pharmacy.

Best thing to do is put any cream on after you have washed your face and before you have fully dried it. This way the cream holds the moisture in the skin.

Drink more water. Can affect skin quality.

Just pick a decent moisturiser and start using it daily.
Any of them will do. Clinique, Loreal, Aramis, Oil of Ulay.
Ask your SWMBO or some other female friend if you are unsure...

You will not catch 'ze ghey', despite the tirade that is doubtless just about to swamp this thread...

And drink more water.

Have you tried exfoliating first and then putting moisteriser on? Should get rid of the flaky bits and then help the skin underneath.

I'm feeling ( confused ) uncomfortable. All this talk of oxfoliation and moistness is turning me on.

And yoghurt. Oh yeah baby.

Its going to take a while before the effects of any moisturiser show up

try these things

Avoid face products that are alcohol based and use twice daily
Eat more fruit and veg
Drink water
Dont have very hot baths or showers
Use an exfoliant which can be used daily, and wash face twice daily
Avoid touching your face with your hands
