Suspension Mounting info

Just a quick question, perhaps for someone in the industry; Is there some sort of information source for suspension mounting dimensions?
I imagine it's the sort of thing used to see how bent a car is after an accident.
The reason for this question is I'm thinking about doing an engine and suspension swap project.
