Jesus.
The builder and wife who bought for 40k but then re mortgaged for another 150k on an ex council house.
They claimed they needed the money and have spent it on the house - im sorry the house looks scanky to me, no way in the world mucca. They dont exactly look like they have starved either. I wonder where his Audi TT and holiday pictures are 'hidden'
Truly shocking stuff.
Got to be the worst career move in the word for the Mortgage advisor???

With so many companies going to the wall, and 1000's out of work, the rate of reposession will increase, poor buggers. Easy to sit on the wall and knock them caught up in the reposession trap, but some are genuine caught in the trap siutation.

Absolutley. I seek no satisfaction in watching this but i have to say that i find little sympathy, surely you always consider all scenarios when getting a Mortgage or do not keep re-mortgaging and pissing the money away?
Or is my logic flawed? I would just want the bloody thing paid off and all the bricks and mortar mine.

The builder bloke - he needs a couple of hundred to make ends meet right? Why the hell do they still have flat screen tv's, playstations and all sorts of goodies. If it was between pawning or the bailiff, I know what I'd go for!!
my thought exactly!! do you think all the money they raised remortgaging, any got spent on the property?did it b
ks!and they wont have a cent to show for it,and soon they will be looking at the local authority to sort the problem out by accomodating them!!having just paid my tax bill, my piss is boilin'
So far, and I must add I missed the start, I haven't seen the stereotypical t
t who's gone out and bought all the latest everything, fancy fitted kitchen, ensuite, flash motor, designer labelled clothes for't kiddies, Apple laptop etc etc and can't really afford it. All seem to have made simple mistakes in their business affairs, are victims of circumstance or don't have a great deal of (financial) sense.
I bet that lender could be kicking themselves now not accepting the offer for their house.

Shocking!
k'
I've got mixed feelings about this, I feel sorry for them, its clearly a very unpleasant experience, but on the other hand these aren't children.
That big chap is discovering the huge shortfall in council housing, I think he's lucky to get a caravan to be honest.

I thought the same, WTF??!! They didn't say what they'd spent it on except for doing the place up and the only defence was something like "well no one reads the small print do they?" That woman irritates me to be honest. That big chap is discovering the huge shortfall in council housing, I think he's lucky to get a caravan to be honest.
