No trains into Euston this morning

Fecking trains have been st since Jan 2008 but a lot worse since the December.

The cheeky feckers have just put the prices up as well! Oh well another claim form will be going off to them tomorrow.

I've not even bothered going to the station but apparently there is no chance of trains running before 1pm.

Bit like yesterday when it took me 3 1/2 hours to get from just south of Manchester to London.
So two days on the trot then plus the weekend. When I got on the train, the train manager explained to only travel if absolutely necessary and that it was likely the train would be cancelled. Major PITA.

just checked first capital, they seem to be ok, getting the 9:15 train, all on time....
driving to london is not much fun

And they want more people to use public transport?

Still nothing going from Leighton Buzzard into Euston. They think it'll be about 1pm before a train leaves here.

I was going to get the 06:40 Pendo from Birmingham International, but I'm not prepared to take a bus from MK onwards.

There's other services from the Midlands, but they take too long. Fortunately my need to be there wasn't essential, but how the communters from MK will manage, God knows....

Having suffered 2 days of rail hell, I didnt even bother this morning. I just took the wife's car to work as she is working in town this morning, so she can walk in.

I know the delays are meant to be just Northampton south to London, but the chances of the trains running perfectly fine from and into New Street? Exactly. Faith lost atm.

Some trains from Leighton Buzzard but only going as far as Hemel Hempstead. Estimated time for fixing the problem is 1pm, and the staff were not over optimistic on this! This line has been a joke since LLondon Midland took over.

I stopped using the Liverpool to Euston route after the Christmas 2007 / New Year 2008 debacle.

In over 40 weeks of driving, the latest I've been is 30 minutes late, I get to stay in bed an hour longer and I don't have to struggle with my luggage through three station changes (Euston is just the first stop on my way to Brentford). It's much cheaper too (£100/week instead of £200)
