That's rather inspired. I like the constant refutation of being able to do car insurance and suggesting you use comparethemarket biggrin

hehe I posted it on the Insurance Comaprison Site thread at the weekend. I didn't want the shame of starting a thread about a fluffy animal on my profile... wink

Tis good for a giggle.

Do you reckon that in the current climate, companies are going to try to get more creative with their advertising? When I saw the meerkat ad, I thought it was one of the best I'd seen for a while for any of those comparison sites.

Seeing as there appears to be one comparison site for every normal site, it looks to be pretty competitive out there.

The other ad I thought was good was the Norwich Union one with the name change with the various celebs who actually have a bit of credibility world wide, not just Celebrity Big Brother-ites.

Maybe Zavvi could have done something like that... you never know...

A: Are you son of mongoose?! This is not comparethemarket.com! I am not insuring your car! Meerkat, market – know the difference!

But you do realise that all the celebs never mention the name of the company - old or new.
No doubt Avulva bought it from an ad agency who can sell the ad round the world for totally different companies and just stick the relavant company name on the end.

It's the accent - sounds like he is actually saying "compare the market" - very clever...
