What a shame. I went to Greens yesterday, when I got there the car park was bear. Have they gone ? ? Not a car or person in sight, car park empty showroom empty from what I could see service bay empty, Just two men in service area who just turned away from me when I tryed to ask where is everyone.
Where now is the nearest place for servicing VXR8 with wortec bits.(KENT)

If an appointed dealer is lost surly the manufacturer should try there best to re-appoint another dealer for the Kent area. God forbid if we loose any more I may have to travel 100's of miles to maintain the car.

You don`t have to use a Vauxhall dealer to service your car.

And personnally I would not use a VX dealer to maintain mine, Monkfish or Rapid would be the prefered companies since VX will treat your car like a 1.6 corsa if only becuase they have a high through put of cars and are time based for bonuses for the YTS mechanics! I know enough people in the trade to know what the majority of "general" car dealerships are like when it comes to servicing your car and the care they exercise or not as the case may be whilst its with them!

Picadors have their senior mechanic look after the V8's. They have refused to do work when he is not been in.

They are probably the last VX main dealer like it though.

Indeed - I use Picadors and they've let me watch them work on my car - they are very very careful!

What would have been reasonably professional of them would've been a note to all of their customers saying thanks for all your past business but as of xxxx Greens are no longer going to be trading.

TBH they are still there, and trading. All the staff are still on site and employed. They cannot announce or say thanks unless/until the worst happens.

I have been on site 3 times this week, and all staff were still there. I think they close earlier and expecially weekends. I was just making the point to Nige that they cant make an announcement until something actually happens.

As I said no cars in car park or showroom site looked deserted apart from the two men who did not want to be bothered, it was about 4pm just getting dark. What the hell do the staff sell there then ? and do they play hide and seek ?

Please dont get me wrong I would very much like to see them back as they were a year or so ago, they used to be a great outfit.

Looks like they are still going, Holborough called me this morning to tell me that the gearbox my car was due had arrived. So looks like they're still doing warranty work at the very least?

Would that be the "Saab" ? side of Greens (looking at your current car list) and not the Vauxhall side. As it was qouted on a posting on here that Vauxhall were not sending parts to them.

Never mind, Im sure they can reclaim the high ground through superior customer service, warranty perfection and general aftersales excellence.
Its theirs for the taking.
