Anyone see garages from hell on ITV the other night?, scarry stuff, especially the Xr3i with the 'burnt valve' (OK so owning an Xr3i would be bad enough
)
Perhaps a dodgy subject for this board but it goes to show even a main dealer can pull some ridiculous scams.
I always like to play dumb when asking for quotes (not difficult for me
) to see what crap they come out with .

Funny how they've always 'just binned the parts, mate' when you ask to see them.
I think all garages should be held at arms length until you get then full picture from them.
Helps to go with a bit of mechanical knowledge I think, but playing 'dumb' would be a laugh I agree to see what crap they come out with.
Might try that next time.
