Moved Thread... WHY?

The Fantastic Motorsport picture thread has been moved from P&P to General Motorsport despite the opening post asking for it not to be and stating why.

Could it be moved BACK to where it was please? It is better off in P&P.

C'mon chaps, admit you've made a mistake and just put it back where it was?

I was ready to move it back, right up until the point I read this:

Why's it better in P&P though? The Motorsport forum is pretty busy, and the thread is less likely to drop down the forum and disappear if it's in the correct place.

I thought it was polite? It was certainly typed with a lighthearted tone of voice. Still, I guess that's the downside of not being able to convey tone in text.

It was certainly not impolite and if you're really honest, it was a mistake for someone to move it if they'd read the first post.

I like the P&P besause it can be so diverse at times which makes it a "Look & Learn" type forum, if you disect it too much all you're left with is a problem page

Funnily enough there is more to this website than the Pie & Piston.

To be fair, it's probably better in General Motorsport than it's current location in Photography which I think is a forum for people to post pictures they've actually taken. Fair play, some pictures may be posted by the taker, but the Nuvolari one......?

I was a little surprised to see that it had been moved there.
