Bear with me on this one.

So; you enter the work toilet which consists of 3 traps. Someone is at the sink washing their hands having just had a poo-poo. All doors are closed and unlocked - no indication which has just been vacated and all are vacant.

Now - which trap would you choose?

The reason being, I, more often than not, chose the warm, stinky one. It'd brighten up my dull day no end to gague some statistical indication of which trap is least likely to have just been vacated.

Thanks.

If there is only a choice of three then it should be trap 1 or 3 NEVER 2.

If another pooer joins you then he too should not use trap 2 giving you a gap between you both to prevent your shoes from touching.

You'll be needing a canary in each one...

Avoid the trap with the dead canary...

Its trickey.

1 or 3 in my case, better chance of someone else not using the adjacent trap.

The one furthest from the door to the toilet.

If 1 is occupied, then 3. If 1 and 3 are busy come back later.

In my pooh perusals I have noticed this pattern too: corner trap with walls on 2 sides if possible. The idea of having two blokes croaching either side appeals only to participants in the Jeremy Kyle show.

The one with the wall rather than the 4" partition on both sides. That way you only need to keep an eye to the front and one side for perverts trying to get a smeeky peeky at you trouser snake.

Always go for the disabled toilet. Much more room, usually cleaner, good hand grips in case it's a fighter.

Always the trap furthest away from door unless you are touching cloth whilst running into the loo. In that case any door will do doo.yuck

In our bogs it's the second most well-used trap for those reasons, and as a result is often in a bad state. The most frequented seems to be the one next to a wall.

One of my favoured tactics is to pick the quietest time and use one of the middle traps then. Chances of someone being next to you is minimal and you have a hardly-used bog to desecrate.
