More like a reflection of the times I am afraid, still all good for the buyer. Love the spider in giallo fly!

Well, they don't know or specialise in Ferraris as they call it speed yellow. Very little other info. They have either bought it cheap and as they don't specialise in them just want rid, or it's a bit ropey.

Even in this climate, that is cheap for a decent 355 Spider.

Very Very odd as hendon way are usually hugely expensive

Either cat d or a mistake in the price which is more likely as it seems cheap evn for a cat d

I think they simply want rid, it has been up for £34,995 for months!! Assuming condition and history is atleast ok, it looks good value. I may go and view it in the next month if it hasn't sold but don't really want an F1, if it was manual, it would probably be in my garage by now!! biggrin

It was the wrong price !!

I think it is up for £32,995

Still a pretty good price but yellow and f1 always make it cheaper

Definately a sign of the times i think, cars just aren't selling. I know of similar cars being traded for less than 24k!!! Theres a lovely 360 spider with 11k miles for 47k, amazing value really...

whatever the car, I wouldnt buy from them, they were the rudest people I encountered when trying to buy a ferrari. Their cars might be good but salespeople they are not.

Seems keenly priced if mint although its Achilles heel is the F1 box. Buying a F355 with an F1 box is like buying a 360 with only 3 gears i.e it will be a compromise. Late 355 spiders are worth around £35k with early 360 spiders worth around £45k. I wonder if any of those stubbornly advertising their 355's for £45k have received any enquiries. I very much doubt it. Regardless, unless you must have the looks of a 355 it is a crap car to own in this day and age. Put an extra £10k into a 360 which is a much better car overall.

Nonsense - the 355 is one of the best sports cars out there. Hence they are holding their values far better than 360s!

sorry, but no - the 355s looks are preferred by some, but in terms of driving and reliability don't come close to the 360....

I was one of the "stubborn" owners advertising my car at 45 grand......I had 4 quality enquiries, i.e. people who appreciated the difference between a good and an average car, and actually wanted to buy one, and the car has just been delivered on a transporter to its new owner who paid as near as damn it the asking price!

All the potential buyers were acutely aware that there are plenty of 360s available for less money.....and they knew why!

The 355 is the last pretty Ferrari made, and surely the look and sound are a huge part of the attraction of any sports car! If it was all about performance we'd all be buying Caterhams or Japanese!

The 355 is an event to drive, unlike a 360 which is very ordinary by comparison, which is why in years to come good 355s will be worth considerably more than any 360! Anyway, the 360 is the poor relation to the vastly superior 430, the 355 however is a totally different animal altogether, one that appeals to a different type of owner!

As for being "crap to own in this day and age", I suppose it is in the same way that a Muira or a Daytona is!
