Making LED rear lights? Anyone done it

Got a custom project on the go and am looking to get the rear lights made with LED's...

Will need to be stop/tail variety..

Anyone done it that could give me a clue as to where to start or are there kits available.

This is to scratch build a set of rear lights not replace stock with LED bulbs....

I have been making LED conversions for the older style polos.... They slide into the back of the light cluster to give that LED pattern...
