Best place to buy currency?

With the pending financial announcements I'm looking to buy this years holiday money this morning. What's the best place for me to do this? I can't really get into a town centre today so online would be best...

Travelex seems to offer the best rates around, unless you go to a 'specialist', but thats normally only for larger amounts!

Nationwide credit card for purchases, debit card for cash withdrawals. Best option by far IMO.

Offering $1.5499/£ for April, its only $1.44 from Travelex right now!

Looks good, how reputable are they as a company though? I don't want to pay them a couple of K and then for them to fold!

Just came to order and you have to do a bank transfer, they do not take cards.

I phoned and had a chat with a nice lady who explained its for thier own protection (card merchants are liable if the transaction is fradulent) and so they dont have to pay fees.

Which is fair enough.

I wasnt too happy about paying this way for exactly the same reason, if it goes pear shaped for any reason I'm up the creek sans paddle.

So I've left it for now, I think I can wear a 1:1 rate which I guess it what the "highstreet" places are doing for the added security of knowing I'll actually get my money!
