Does this sort of thing annoy anybody else?

Specifically the bit about insuring it as a non-turbo. It's all well and good until you wipe out someones pride and joy and your insurance company refuses to cover you because you falsly represented your car on the insurance.
Grrr, I've always paid a fortune to keep my cars insured by the time I've declared absolutely everything, I even had to phone my insurer to double check that the car bought up on the online thing was right as it was bringing it up as a 420 GSi and I wanted to check that they had it as a turbo (which they did)

Scotal,
How do I do that? I live with an MDP Copper, I'll ask him if I'll get anywhere reporting it as most of the crimefiles he ends up doing are traffic related so he should know the process

What a spacktard that guy is, not only advising people to commit insurance fraud, but as good as admitting he does already and therefore has no insurance.
Luckily his plate is visible in the pictures. So M318TRJ will hopefully get a visit from the BiB or a rude letter from his insurer

Reported - boy do I feel daft now... And I'm an IT Manager too
Isn't there a website where you can check a vehicle is insured - and doesn't that tell you the make and the model of the insured car? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere...
