Should General Motorsport be hidden away at the end of the Forums list where very few people ever see it?

There is an interesting sport-related topic in Motoring News right now, and it would have done a lot to bolster up the relatively thin General Motorsport Forum if it had appeared there.

Most sport-related threads usually turn up in General Gassing, and this probably shows that people don't want to post their thoughts in a place where they will never be read.

Ted?

P.S.
I would list it between General Gassing and Website Feedback, but I'm biased!

The problem is more with the number of forums. Whoever is at the bottom of the page gets the rawer end of the deal.

I've got something in mind which may help.

I tend to move them to General Motorsport when I see them. Like the Tobacco one I've just moved.

Additional thought, don't know if this is part of your designs Ted but when a thread is moved to the right forum, the last post time doesn't make the thread show as a new post in the new forum. If you understand that!

I mean I move a thread (last post 13:00) to the forum, but the last post date in that forum stays as the last new thread posted there. Therefore people may not notice it.

I'll shut up now.
