Help with watchwinders

Hi Does anyone know about watch winders,I have a wooden rapport single drum winder,looks lovely,But at just over two years old has worn out one motor/gear box and now the replacement is makeing a noise,when the first motor went wrong I gave rapport a call they were very helpfull and gave me a new motor free,but it's only lasted 9 months and I am thinking is it just me or have any of you had the the same sort of problem and know how to fix it.The main watch it's used for is a rolex bi metal sub so not a huge watch or sould I sell it as I could do with with three drum,which make do I get?
