Dropped in today to the NEC. A great show, well worth the visit, bit expensive at £29 plus £8 to park though. Very pleased to see a good turn out from kit folk inc Adrenalin, Quantum, Tifosi, Spire, Raw, SDR, Monaco, Blitz Westfield, Caterham, TKC mag, Kit Car mag, CKC mag doing the rounds with cameras (sorry if I missed anyone) lots of young girls in Lycra, Prodrive, Aspid, classic auction on Sat, engineering section, Quaife, Gaz, Rally design, Burton Power, Demon Tweeks, Europa, the list goes on. Public days Sat/Sun I think. Take a packed lunch!!! No camera with me sorry.

Good to see we`re being catered for smile

Why didn`t use the promotional code to get cheap tickets though?

I`m going sunday.
Are team dynamics there? i want a set of 13" pro races for mine.

I would just like to add for peoples info, If your going to the oval racing show in the live action arena at the end of Sat or Sunday, dont try to pay for your parking until you leave as by the time you come out the parking attendants have usually gone home, smile

I went today expecting it to be a let down after previous shows and actually found much more to see than previous years.
The entrance fee was OK (£31 for two) and the parking was £8 for four.
Annoyed that the Sat Nav bloke wouldn't accept my generous offer though.

It was great to see a decent turn-out of kit car manufacturers. Haven't compared it to previous years' listings, but it seemed like more than usual.

What was your offer to the sat nav bloke?

They were listed as Gazzmatic or something. As you came tyhrough from the engineering hall to the main event, they were just opposite the Race Tech stand. smile

Why can't the tickets be reasonably priced to start with rather than annoying peeps that pay the full price and later find out they could have got in cheaper?
I didn't realise there were promotional codes and didn't go as I thought £29 was way too steep, especially just after Santa needs paying for.

Why can't anything be simple in this country?
Don't get me started on train tickets! furious
