My March 07 car has a 3 year Lotus extended warranty which I negotiated in the deal when I bought the car. Suggest you talk to a Lotus dealer and see if the warranty can be extended on yours.

Thoroughly recommend you get a warranty, I had a 4 figure bills on my previous one in it's 3rd year of life, and an impending one triggered the decision to change the car.

I 100% recommend getting a warranty through Lotus themselves - about £900 for 2 years I paid in May on my aspen white Exige s /06 plate thumbup

Had a couple of problems, but all fixed no questions at all.

It's a very different price now unfortunately - double that for 3yrs. My 2yrs was around £900 back in May.

so i can ask for this at the lotus dealership then and they will have no quivers on giving me one?

is this a full warranty?

or one that weakens through the years?

Yes

Yes

and

Yes thumbup

I've used my official lotus warranty, that I bought by walking into my Lotus dealer for a few things - all been done with no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Hope that's all of help!
