Then your family line dies out and you fail as a living organism, as that is the true meaning of life! It's really not that hard to grasp! The answer is simply 'to exist'.

We, as humans, think we are oh so special because we have the ability to question ourselves and life/existence, but it is all bks really. We think there must be a meaning behind everything, we are all special and that we are here for a reason.

Maybe a cat/dog also questions why they are here too, but until I see one post on PH asking then I'm going to presume that it's just us humans!

Things are born, reproduce and die. Have done for millions of years before we existed, and will do after we have gone. Humans are a drop in the ocean of earth's history and we're really not that special!
