I love the colour on that blue 500 Mondial PF and often wonder what a 348 would look like in it.

And that Nart Spider just has to be the inspiration for the TVR 350 Wedge! Even the interior.

I have to confess I don't 'get' car collecting - Acquisition without the intention of driving them! frown

(beyond the obvious, for financial investment purposes...)

If I had the time/space/funds I would collect cars (but I suppose I would drive them all as often as possible)

I understand that this gentleman does, indeed, drive his cars.

They've actually missed the best car out (IMO).

I take it that's sarcasm James?

What is so bad about TVR (if they did) taking inspiration from the Nart? And if you think I'm so way off the mark, I suggest you look down the side of a 350i from the same angle as the Nart and also the interior, such as the big upright centre console.

It was just a light-hearted observation anyway and I don't suppose the two have ever been compared before in their lives.

Not quite as stylish, granted:

Not quite as well finished either:

but not soooooooooo disimilar.

Blimey!

I don't know as if I'd have said it was nicer, and the 350i was my first dream car yes
