Jaguar Racing Green Sagaris

Hi all

Does anyone know how many Sagaris' were made in Jaguar racing green? I am due to buy a new car in the next couple of months and am seriously looking at either a Aston Martin v8 vantage or a sagaris, but only if I can get one in Jaguar racing green

Also if anyone has any pictures of Jaguar green Sags can they post them up as I've only seen a couple of pics floating around the web.

As far as I know only one, I got to drive this back from Heathrow to racing green a year ago.

The problem was the factory could not get the colour correct and either it (or a 2nd car) was (re)sprayed the correct colour (i.e. the colour in the above picture) - personally I didn`t like the tint's on the rear windows, make it seem smaller inside.

It was sold almost immediately (they said it was ear marked for a customer for a long time) and I think (don`t quote me on it) it had around 8k miles.. (vaguely remember reading the dash..)

That's a shame. I didn't expect there to be many in that colour to be honest and personally I think it looks great. Originally I was looking at starmist grey but thought that if your going to have a properly loud car (styling and sound) the colour might just as well be loud too

There are AT LEAST 2, if not more. The one in the picture and another that RG service with a mental custom exhaust on it wich sounds .

I went for starmist grey, and love the understated look. However at the recent meet, there were lots of photos of the yellow and reflex/chameleon green/purple Sags there, but only one photo of mine - hence the public seem to agree with you. But to the OP - I want my Chim in that colour. Stunning.

Its possible that the 1st Racing green sagaris was not painted correctly and the 2nd one is (more?) correct - but they definately said that the factory had issues with the colour first time around.

I hope to get the car resprayed in a few years but I would certainly be moving from Silver to a reflex/flip paint ( Cascade Indigo).

Even in Silver people point, small children stand jaw open and chav's give me the "burn some rubber" signals
