On Max (both sides) the passenger side pumps out warm air while the driver's side pumps out cold. Any ideas? Are there 2 temp sensors, one for each side?

Try turning off the aircon and see if that helps.

tried that, it just seems to be less cold. Looks like a trip to Motorbodies is in order.

Mine must be a minor version of that. The high level vents on driver's side get some cool air. Footwell vents warm air as normal. I don't notice it once aircon is off.

Does anybody know where the temp sensor is on the driver's side? It obviously thinks it's too hot and pumping out cold air.

You should see some slots in the dash on driver's side and it's behind those.

However, turning the system to max negates that and just tries to pump out hot air. I think it's the air mix door that's sticky on mine. There are 2 motors under the HVAC system. Driver's motor/door is the lower one. These connect to the air mix doors via rods.

ooh, that looks like the dash needs to come out! I wonder if it will be covered under warantee given the engine isn't exactly standard?

Thanks anyway.
