I have just read an article in my local rag (Chippenham Gazette & Herald - Oct 16th) in which there's a report stating that ambulance drivers are told not to take a shorter route in the town where there's traffic-calming measures, but to use the by-pass as it was 'the quickest and easiest and definitely the safest!

Safest inasmuch as you won't be bouncing the patient around like sack of spuds on a trampoline maybe (speedbumps)

I had one in the village of Mark in Weston-super mare. My right of way, he blissfully indicates and forces me off the road. When we both got out of our cars (my rear end was blocking him coz i more or less sideskidded the car to avoid hitting him!) he said "I indicated so that then gives me right of way....."

BAD DRIVERS OFF ROAD NOW!!!!!!
