PH is always a preety good source of info and you can usually get an answer on pretty much everything (apart from my leaky bathroom issue, (its still leaking)

Anyway, reading through one of many topics on recession/housing crash etc... I remember reading ages ago one of the posters mentioning about excessive personal debt, all the indicators of why they were pulling out/selling up much to the dismay of quite a few posters, but I recall thinking maybe the guy has got a point (but got a little loan for something sporty at the time anyway lol).

So who are main posters you would consider 'not bad' and worth listening to for all matters finacial or climate wise ?

Or know the subject well enough to judge their comments. In which case the answer is "you are".

Pistonheads is a dangerous place for people spouting opinions but stating them as absolute fact, often combined with a level of intelligence to make it believable. SO agree with above believe noone with a couple of exceptions:

EricMc: He is incapable of professing anything other than absolute fact. If he says it then it's true. No exceptions.

In fact-just him.

Aahh, but then if we are to accept what you state above, then surely you too are unreliable and as this has not come from EricMc himself then by your own conclusions we should not believe you, blimey back to square one!

Prof. Beard

Any professor with a beard must be right.

Conversely, not me, so ignore my first comment, and due to logic, ignore my second one too.

To put it short....Trust No-one!!!!

Take in everyones views....and then make an informed decision yourself. Its the only way to be sure you're making the right choice for you.

Wow.......that came across pretty deep.

Touche. And true. But then again-if I am spouting untrue opinions-then it means that noone spouts untrue opinion as I suggested-thus neither do I and can be believed.

You're right. I was wrong..... to use the word 'and'.

Should just have written 'Don't be bl00dy ridiculous'; followed by 'Only I am always right and worth listening to'.

You had to edit, and therefore made a mistake.
A mistake is defined as "an action not done right"
Therefore, you did something not right.
Which means you are not always right.

Makes huge sense, though one or two of those that seem to know their stuff are prepared to back it up outside the forum so that must count for something.
