County Court Judgements.

How would I find out about a previous ccj that someone I know had? It was more than 10 years ago so I would have to dig deep, are there any records kept in City Hall that the public have access to?

The place to look would be Norwich as the person in question came from there.

I have a personal interest and should have done this shortly after getting married but hey ho, live and learn...

A ccj is normally only kept on File for 5 or 6 years i think.

why don't you get a experian or Equifax credit check done on the person it will only cost you about a fiver

I am under the impression that unless you are in a prticular business of offering credit you can not do a credit check on someone else, Data Protection Act...

Yep, just checked t&c's;

"You may not purchase Products on behalf of anyone else, even with their consent. It is an offence under Section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1998 to obtain or procure the disclosure of personal data in certain circumstances."
