What can I say!!, Was putting new engine mounts on the chimaera at about 5pm today when I discovered that not only were the engine mounts completely shot and I mean completely!! but the bracket that holds the mount to the engine was missing two bolts on one side! (There are only three holding it on!!, Two fat ones one thin one) It was the thin one holding the whole side of the engine up!!and it was half undone!!
Anyway a few phone calls around the local area and no-body could get me any as they are an old size that no-one seems to do now. By this time it was about 5.15pm.
Rang TMS who said that they had never needed to order them so did not have any. BUT.. Ivan was good enough to walk up the road to a Tractor Engineering place and ask for some for me, they had some in the right thread so he got them and contacted me so I could drive to TMS and get them, all by 5.45pm!!! How many other Dealers would do that for you!!!!???

Car is now done and the transformation in drive and handling is amazing!!!, Feels like a completely different car!!.

Tomorrow...... New Rear Tyres!!!
