I adore them. Roasted with oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice until crisp and tender within. Very savoury and delicious.

The ultimate sandwich can be made from them by picking the meat and crisp skin from the bone and eating whilst still warm.

Anyone else fond of chicken wings out there?

Oh yes, love them.

Tried all sorts of various flavours and seasonings, can't beat barbeque or spicy though.

Yep. I barbecue 'em all summer and roast 'em in the winter.

Got to be crispy crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Perfect Friday evening food.

I love them.
But nothing seems to quite compare to a plate of 50 hot chicken wings at Hooters for $23.99.
Simply the most divine...

Jerk seasoning is very good on wings.

If you like that - try Piri Piri for an even hotter experience. lick

I too used to love a Hooters Hot Wing.

Until I discovered where they source them.

UK Battery Hens that have gone passed their laying date.

Doesn't deter me in the slightest. Not when they taste that good.

Why waste perfectly edible food in pet food?
We eat worse in pork pies, scotch eggs, sausage rolls...

Abslutely.

I now actually live in Arizona, therefore count myself extremely lucky in terms of wing availability and quailty. There are 2 BIG chains of wing establishments out here, one is called Buffalo Wild Wings, which is a great sports bar, 12 sauces, about 8 dollars for 12 wings, wonderful stuff.

Then there's Wing Stop, which is similar, but it isn't bar, more just a wing restaurant, similar cash.

Then there's my favorite - Long Wong's. This place is a true health-code violation. Their Suicide hot wings, all of which are the mini-drumsticks, rather than the ones which you have to split. It's a real back-to basics place though, styrofoam kebab boxes, unlicensed beer, and a GOLDEN TEE!! machine for while you eat. Best bit? I get 20 suicide wings, and skin-on steak fries, all for a wallet pleasing 12 dollars!!

Now I miss living in Nottingham! Are there any plans to open more across the UK? Every man should have wing night at least once a month. TGIs hot and spicy are very good, as are the JD Wings. Nom nom.
