I appear to lost the Sprayway waterproof I've had for years - have no idea how.
It was a 3/4 length single thickness lightweight (with hood) with zip and velcro fastening and taped seams. Very windproof and waterproof. Could be screwed up and stuffed in your briefcase or whatever
So I need a new mac - what do all you energetic PHers reckon is best? Price not an issue within reason.

I was very impressed by the North Face I owned a few years ago; the current range seem very similar. Otherwise Patagonia (if you can find last season stock as they are substantially cheaper) are pretty good in my experience - certainly well made and good repair service.

I bought one of these (Musto) as a shore jacket and have been very impressed with it; £40 from Bicester Village.
I've also got a Paramo smock which is an amazing piece of technical clothing. Packs fairly small, surprisingly small and amazingly breathable but not cheap.
