Where have they gone?

I've always been a huge fan of the Cheese & Onion variety but really, you can hardly find them any more. In fact, the only place that does sell them near me is the local taxi office's vending machine.

What's happened?

Sounds about right - own brand crisps have the same thin, greasy qualities that made GW so unappealing back then.

I agree as it happens, but they're readily available. GW aren't (for me), leading to cravings.

Golden wonder Cheese and onion flavour are the food of the gods.
The taste is far superior to that of Walkers (IMO).

Any one is Sctochland who wants to send some down?

The GW factory in Scunthorpe was taken over by TAYTO but as far as I know still makes GW crisps for distribution everywhere.
