We just got about 3-4" of snow, not much, but enough to make something of a mess. Anyhow, my swine of a neighbor is out there with his snowblower clearing his sidewalk and driveway, at 11:35 at night.

Think 2 stroke, noisy, etc...

Am I justified in beating him senseless or am I too touchy?

I wouldn't be to happy, especially if i was in bed/asleep.

What would be the point of it anyway? It could snow more during the night anyway!

Clearly an idiot. Ignorant too. rolleyes Tear him a new one.

I'm not normally happy with any noise past 10pm, never mind 2strokes screaming away. (recently had this problem with a neighbour and their 16 year old son and his moped)

Three choices really;

A - Ignore it, he's clearly retarded, care in the community ect

2 - Rip his face off with a rusty spoon

C - Get something louder, and make noise later biggrin

SNOWBALL FIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....... that'll get the buggers attention.

but yes, making that much noise at that time of night is inappropriate and easily avoidable. Unsure of the laws over there, but if a neighbour is being loud at unsocialable hours, we can report them.

well, we could - now we have to wait until the office opens up at 9am.

04:45 on a sunday morning, in the office, on pistonheads.
I doubt this was the life I dreamt of as a youngster smile

I would let it go. Maybe he's trying to save some time in the morning?

Although, I'm sure he has topped by now.

Could be worse, my sister in law called this morning at 8:30. My wife, who is currently heavily pregnant and also very full of cold, answered thinking it was some kind of emergency ringing so early on a Sunday. It turns out the sister-in-law is hungover and would she go round and babysit whilst she went back to bed for a couple of ours.

It was a good job she'd put the phone down before I realised what she wanted otherwise I doubt we'd have been on speaking terms for quite some time.

To answer your question though, no you're not. At that time of night the lazy git should have used a shovel.
