Will a Digital TV accept a analogue aerial feed
Discussion
A question for AV bods!
Looking to purchase a flat screen tv for the bedroom, nothing too big or fancy probably a 19" or thereabouts. I have no TV aerial in the bedroom, but do have a coaxial feed from my Sky+ box downstairs, not the LNB type feed just normal aerial. All the TVs I've been looking at have digital tuner built-in.
My question is does a TV with a Digital tuner take a analogue feed from a SKY+ box?
All help appreciated.

Not sure if I'm confusing this. I take it you had a telly in the bedroom before , CRT with Analogue tuner? As far as I'm aware all Freeview tellies also have an analogue tuner. So as with your previuos telly just put the Sky box on and tune the telly via the analogue tuner and transmissions from the Sky box downstairs will be seen on it.

Cable to the bedroom was already installed when I moved in so it appears the previous owners had a anologue TV setup or even a digital TV with analogue/digital tuner.I didn't realise until now that digital TVs come with both types of tuner ... been a pure SKY viewer for years, never used terrestrial either format.
Cheers
Presume youre taking the RF out from the Sky box...If thats the case then you'll be fine as all nrew tellies have both digital and analogue tuners. When you tune in just make sure youre on the analogue side when the box downstairs is on. It will most likely go through the whole process, analogue first then try and hunt for digital channels, that it wont find. Good luck
