Key and remote central locking fob

This may be a daft question but I've got to ask it. I only have one key for my Tuscan and would like a spare, if I bought a key and remote central locking fob from a salvage Tuscan, would the key fit and could I get the fob re- programmed?

IIRC you can but it'll need recoding.

i have an ignition berrel and 2 keys you could swap the barrel and reprogram
the keys dont ask me how to do it though

If you have the red card with the 16 (?) didget code then Carl can do you a replacement key, if not you need to send him the alarm module, he will reprogram and return within a couple of days with 2 new fobs for bout £150. I found aplace that will do it cheaper but Carl has a very good rep on here and a friend has used him also so probably worth the extra.
