Hi All,

I am looking for a 160GB ipod. The new ones are only availabe as 120gb and the new models will not charge on my speaker dock. If I buy one from Ebay how will it work with itunes as I remember when I bought mine years ago I had to register it? Also, can you have multiple ipods on the same version of itunes on the same computer - just under different names?
Thanks
V

I've got an ancient first generation ipod (which amazingly still works) and a fancy new one here, they both still work with iTunes no probs.

Dont recall ever registering either of them.

I never registered mine. They'l be no problem, just think of it as using the ipod with a different computer. I've done it with my own and with a friends.

ETA- Yes for your second question, itunes will recognise different ipods. Just use different names on your ipods.

You have to associate the iPod with that computers iTunes is all, no need to register it with apple.

And iTunes copes with multiple iPods fine.
