Value of a W reg 1.7 Puma

A mate of mine is looking to sell her Puma.

Its a 1.7 , W reg year 2000 model in Silver , circa 90k miles.

Mot until end of August, taxed until end of Feb

I suggested around £1600....is this about right ?

Mine's on 94k, same age, colour, etc, and I figure it's worth around that much (if it was in complete working condition, which is isn't - the battery just packed up).

Oddly enough my mate called this afternoon to tell me the very same thing (flat batt)

How odd. Reliability obviously a strong point! I also have a suspected bearing problem (sounds like a turbo whine in a car with no turbo) and a brokem ABS sensor. Not that i'm trying to get a prize or anything.
