Apart from being about £15k over priced, anyone know anything about this SV? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/845872.htm

Hi, Yes that's was one of mine diablos. Traded it in. Superb car to drive. Loved it. Was really hard to let it go.
Happy to answer questions by PM. You're kidding yourself if you think that the dealer asking price should be 45K. It's a sound, high spec, late car.

Hi Pete, got email probs at the mo so I'll PM you when ok again. I could understand that price if it was at Carlos place,Mike Pullens or main dealer, people who know them, but that is in the middle of nowhere shanty townsville. Not exactly where I would expect to find a Thoro'bred. If it was yours I wouldn't expect it to have any issues but I couldn't bring myself to pay top dollar for it from a back street general dealer. I saw the car when DP brought it to Goodwood last year.
I know the miles are a bit high, but it sounded good and looked very tidy.
Surely it's blue, not purple.
The price looks a little high, but it's a buyers market at the mo, so make an offer.
Doesn't exactly look like the forecourt of H R Owen or Lambo High Wycombe. I half expected to see Arfur Daly leaning up against it.

Went and saw it this morning. Parked up on an open yard with little more than a portacabin for an office, the wheels are oxidising already. Had a chat with Mr A Dailey who reckoned that the car owed him £62k and wasn't open to offers. Said he had been offered £52k for it sight unseen and refused it. I think he should have taken it. I'll go see him again in 6 months time when he still has it.
The car is pretty clean but needs a little exterior tidy up before it is a £50k car. Apparently the interior is being reconalised this thursday. Unless its done very very well, that should knock a couple more grand off it. I reckon the actual value is £47 - £50k.
I really cant see them selling it from that site and definately not at £59950 so expect it to turn up at an auction some time in the future.

There was no such thing 6 months ago! SV's were ~70k
6 months ago Iceland was solvent, woolworths was a institution with a line of credit running into millions, and £1 was worth 1.7 (ish) euro's.The world isn't the same place it was six months ago.
There are several SV's for sale at well over £50k but none are selling. The only ones changing hands are around the £50k mark.
Old cliche, cars, not just Lambo's, are only worth what somebody will pay for them.
Hi guys,
Just for the record guys, this dealer isn't the company I was dealing with. It's been moved on from the people I bought the Murci from.
Upset to think it's being left out in the rain.
It's worth a minimum of 50K I reckon. To drive it's absolutely lovely.
All the best
Pete

It is a straight car. Had a replacement front spoiler after a shunt, but not a cat registered car or any structural damage. Just the front spoiler replaced. I have no gain in talking this car up as it's not mine anymore. It has not had the full treatment that my other two have had, but then, it hasn't needed much. I'm not sure why this car is expected to be given away. The mileage isn't that much for a 5.7 litre engine. Guess it shows that it's useable. Certainly never driven a smoother diablo. Reckon the price is a bit below 60 though. Only time will tell.
