hi i have a 1998 uk 20 turbo impreza runs fine but now and agane will die and will not rev when it comes on boost .it will tick over with the engin ligth on turn it off and re set the alarm it is ok agane it happens 2 or three times

what are you doing when it is happening?
boosting? just cruising?

you need to check the code for the fault! if it is a classic turbo it is quite easy. there are two connectors under the steering wheel that you put together and get a diagnosis of the ecu. do a quick search for impreza fault codes on the web and you get plenty of info
